2.4. Cross flow

In the heat exchangers the fluids can move in directions orthogonal to each other, so that the hot flow and cold flow are cross (cross flow).

The cross flow is classified as mixed (a delivery of fluids flowing in the direction orthogonal to the other without restrictions) and non mixed (plates are arranged to guide the flow of fluids).
